Halloween

Halloween trick-or-treating occurs earlier in Sherwood than many nearby communities as it is traditionally held 12-2 PM on the Saturday before Halloween, with festivities at High Cliff park to follow.
Our Halloween decor includes this witch

Trick-or-treaters arriving on a trailer pulled by a John Deere.
Trick-or-treaters were greeted by Austin Powers dancing
to his favorite music
Starting at 3 PM, pumpkin carving, a costume contest, and
wagon rides take place at the Pavilion at High Cliff State Park.

Afterwards folks follow the scent of
blazing campfires to  the campground at the park

delight of children and adults alike
